I am a British/Persian (cross breed from a Scouse mother & Iranian father) actress. Trained at the University of East Anglia, in classic and modern theatre, with further professional working experience in short films, feature films and television.

As a stage and screen actress, I've been cast as everything from grotty teenage boys to poised aristocratic ladies. Comfortable playing with both drama and comedy and this was critically acknowledged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, when starring in the 4* play "Breaking The Pope." I received special mentions in The Herald (Scottish National newspaper), British Theatre Guide and ScotsGay. I also managed to convince my peers at university into thinking the same lovely things, as I was awarded best supporting actress, at our annual drama awards, two years running.

I strongly believe that you can never stop learning or adding to your craft; so when I am not in, producing or writing a project, I continue to study at The Actors Centre, London, and when in Los Angeles, at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, Advance Class.

Having been seriously bitten by the writing bug, you'll often find me in a corner of a coffee shop or sprawled upon a park bench scribbling away in my notepad. I have had great support from New Empress magazine and ExtraFriends, and aim to cast my net further as I venture on some worldly travels and share the adventures with you.

Film's the thing for me, but as you read through my jottings you'll see I have a few more interests up my sleeve too... Enough to keep your attention for a little while.
